Visitors will enjoy visiting nearby Glen arbor ( 4.5 miles), crystal river (2.5 miles) sleeping bear dunes (8.1 miles), boat rentals on Glen Lake ( try On The Narrows Marina), and sleeping bear national park ( all around). Hikes abound on countless trails through the sleeping bear national park ( nps.gov) or bike rides of the infamous sleeping bear heritage trail. Mountain bikers can explore Palmer woods forest reserve ( 2m).
