Beautifully decorated 3 Bedroom (King, king, queen), 3 bath cabin on 5 acres in highly desirable Coosawattee River Resort. Dog friendly, fenced yard, paved roads and easy access. Hot tub, screened porch, fireplace, WIFI, shuffleboard in loft. tankless water heater. NO CATS PLEASE, owner is highly allergic.

Upper Level: 1 King bedroom with private screened porch, 1 bath, loft with shuffleboard
Patio Level: 1 Queen bedroom, 1 bath, Hot tub outside.
Dogs are welcome. NO cats allowed.
Maximum occupancy including day guests is six (6) people. Children from age 1 and above are counted in the occupancy. All cabins require a cleaning fee, along with a Non-Refundable Processing Fee (which includes a Damage Waiver Fee for returning guests), Taxes are currently 18%. All rates and seasons are subject to change. Rates include the holiday and surrounding nights. Coosawattee River Resort charges a $59 gate fee for all reservations, plus a $20 resort fee paid through Sliding Rock Cabins and we submit it to the resort. If a reservation is made within 2 business days of arrival, the resort charges an additional $20. There is an amenity card provided for every reservation. If it is not returned to Sliding Rock Cabins, there is a $120 fee to replace it.
Coosawattee River Resort has implemented fines for certain behaviors while occupying the cabin. These fees will be charged to the guest, and guests agree to paying these fines via security deposit or authorizing a credit card charge:
- Reckless Endangerment, trash, littering; $150
-Noise complaints: $250 and above
-Discharge of Firearms & unattended fires $500
CANCELLATION/RESCHEDULING/NO SHOW/EARLY DEPARTURE: Each cabin is privately owned and cancellations affect owners significantly. Cancellations, rescheduling, or changes must be submitted in writing and confirmed received by Sliding Rock Cabins® more than thirty-one (31) days prior to the original check-in date in order to receive refund, less a Sixty Five Dollar ($65) cancellation fee. Said changes regardless of reason made within thirty-one (31) days of your original check-in date will result in a forfeiture of all moneys paid. All moneys paid are non-transferable to another rescheduled date. Refunds will be given if Agent can re-book said dates with another guest limited to the extent of rebooking. Agents are not responsible for Guests inability to arrive or if Guests chooses to depart early for any reason, or if members of Guests party do not show up. Summary: Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The scoop is that the Chicken Coop is the place to be Ellijay GA for vacation!. What a great little place to enjoy the scenery, weather and all things Ellijay and surrounding areas. The Chicken Coop had all the amenities for cooking and relaxing and just enjoying your stay. We brought more than we needed because we weren't sure about what the cabin had, but it had it all. Proximity to local stores, groceries and liquor stores was perfect. Some of the other cabins we visited that our friends were at were way back in the woods, pretty but far from everything. The fenced in yard was great for our pups and we really enjoyed the living room and kitchen areas. The description of the cabin was spot on and it was well stocked with the essentials and very clean. The management company even reached out to us to extend our stay an extra day but we unfortunately had to head home. Fantastic vacation with many memories made with my wife, father and friends.
