The name says it all. This cottage has been designed with one thing in mind, relaxing with friends and family in a high-end coastal vibe. Vintage 1930’s Cape Cod cottage on the outside, light, bright and completely renovated on the inside.
Located on a private, dead end street and just a short stroll to Pleasant Point and Blackfish Creek. An ideal location to kayak, paddleboard, and swim at high tide. At low tide watch Wellfleet’s commercial shellfish farmers work their grants or grab a chair and your favorite cocktail and catch some spectacular sunsets at the water’s edge.
Limin’ Cottage has been remodeled with a focus on comfort, convenience and casual entertaining. Two bedrooms with ensuite baths. One bedroom has a king size bed. The other is a queen size bed. The mattresses are new SAATVA brand with 50 adjustable firmness options. Each side with its own firmness control. Each bedroom has a smart TV.
Bathrooms are light and bright, with tiled showers, and double sink vanities. Kitchen is fully equipped with cookware, flatware, dishes and glassware. Brand new appliances include an induction range, fridge with filtered water and ice dispenser, dishwasher, microwave and Keurig coffee maker. The open layout makes it easy to connect between the kitchen, livingroom, and dining area, ensuring that you can spend quality time together no matter where you are in the cottage. Gather around the dining table near the windows with seating for up to 6 and enjoy a picture worthy spread or game night.
After a day spent exploring the nearby beaches, rinse off in the convenient outdoor shower and then relax in the Adirondack chairs by the fire pit with your favorite beverage. For dinner head over to the alfresco dining area on the private deck with BBQ grille and dining table for 6. Whether you're entertaining guests or just enjoying an evening in, both spaces are sure to please.
Other amenities include a Sonos speaker, 6 beach chairs, beach towels and cooler, 2 cruising bikes, 2 kayaks located at Pleasant Point landing, washer and dryer located in basement (accessed through bulkhead). Linens and towels provided. Entire cottage enjoys central A/C. There are two homes on one lot. Limin' Cottage is at the front of the lot and the owners' property is located at the back of the lot.
The cottage is in close proximity to all that Wellfleet and the outer Cape have to offer. For swimming, the warm, calm waters of Indian Neck bayside beach are 2.9 miles away. The soaring dunes and wild waves of the oceanside beaches such as Marconi, White Crest and Cahoon Hollow are all within 3 to 4 miles.
Wellfleet is also known for its many natural kettle ponds, Gull Pond, Long Pond and hidden Duck Pond, all within 4 miles. Exploring on foot, the Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary/ Mass Audubon has extensive trails along the bayside and is within 4 miles. The Cape Cod Rail trail offering 25 miles to bike, walk or run has a trailhead 1.5 miles away, across from PB Boulangerie, Wellfleet’s finest bakery. Head to downtown Wellfleet for shopping, food and entertainment (2.5 miles). Provincetown’s MacMillan Wharf is a 25 minute car ride away. For local golf, tennis, pickleball, check out Wellfleet’s Chequessett Neck Yacht and Country Club 4.5 miles and/or Truro Highland Links, one of the Cape’s oldest courses, perched high along windswept bluffs overlooking the Atlantic, next to the vintage Highland Light.
