Summary: Overall, a decent property. It's in a very old building that was refurbished a little over ten years ago. It's starting to show need for repairs. For example, a portion of the shutters was broken in the bathroom window. The metal support at the base of the bathroom sink was off center. Our room was located behind the front desk, and there was a lot of noise in the early morning hours. Not sure if it was the front desk staff or the person in the room above us who we could here walking around on the wood floors. Having said all that, the staff at Oakhurst was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast at the cafe (not included in our rate) was first rate, and the service there was fantastic. This was a very convenient location in the heart of the University. A nice place to stay just not sure of the overall value for the price.
