Summary: We had a good time here - 2 adults and a 10-year old daughter for 5 nights in mid-August.The condo felt a little small at first but felt fine after a while. It would definitely be a bit cramped with 2 adults and 2 older/grown kids. The location is key here- we enjoyed people-watching from the balcony drinking our morning coffee. The walk the beach wasn't too far and even during the peak season there was so much room (the beach is gigantic) to find a spot and settle. Ocean temperature was perfect and we enjoyed boogie-boarding the waves and checking out the horseshoe crabs and other creatures. We had no issues with the other people on the beach - nobody was smoking or drinking (this seemed to be enforced well) or causing a ruckus or anything like that. Walking the beach in the evenings was nice and peaceful. It was a short distance to the boardwalk which is definitely worth checking out. It's gigantic. We drove but walking from the condo is possible (25 minutes or so). It is also a short drive to Cape May, where we went out to eat a few times and to do some shopping at the Washington Square place. A horse-drawn carriage ride was a highlight of our trip as we learned a bit about the area. Dinner prices were reasonable (it could have been much more expensive given the classy atmosphere of the area). In Cape May we also went kayaking and did a whale watch. We went swimming in the pool at the condo a few times- it was relaxing and not busy at all.
