There is a corner store towards the bottom of the hill. There are also several small shops, coffee shops on Georgia Ave. Target and Giant are both about 6 blocks from here. It's a bit of a walk but a very short drive/uber ride off of 14th street. Where can I go for a quick workout? There is a Washington Sports Club 6 blocks from here. Same complex as the Target. Where is the closest park? Malcolm X park is 3.5 blocks from here. 16th and Euclid The park will be to your left. On Sunday's there is a drum circle, where people are picnicking, tight rope walking, doing acrobatic yoga, and just generally enjoying the day (weather permitting). You can also go for a run in the park, in the early morning and afternoon, there are always people running or doing outdoor bootcamps. What about parking? There is street parking available. Please contact me to get the visitors parking pass. What about public transportation? The Bus line is right on the corner of Georgia and Euclid. It goes downtown/Capital/Museums, etc. The metro (we are on the green and yellow line) is 6 blocks away in the same direction as Target and Giant. You can either take the Columbia Heights Metro or the Shaw/Howard University Metro.
