Summary: This was a tough rating. Couldn't decide between 3 or 4 stars but ultimately went with 4 because the house and location themselves were great. You can't beat a lakefront location with a nice dock. The house was also super charming.The cons were mostly due to the property management company, Taylor Made. Grass was a foot tall and entire property looked unkept, outdoor furniture packed away for winter, only FOUR bath towels for a house that sleeps 6 AND the dryer was broken. Plus only one very thin blanket per bed with zero extra blankets and it was a chilly week. No problem, we'll call Taylor Made, ha!... No one picks up, we call again, many times, no one picks up the phone. We finally leave a message with our issues. I also get an automated text from them, "Are you satisfied with your property" I click "no" and they respond that they will contact us shortly. Monday rolls around, still nothing. We finally get a call I think Monday afternoon. We tell them our issues and they say they'll address them. Someone stopped by with two bath towels. No one ever came to mow or fix the dryer. We didn't even bother trying to call again. So disappointing. So many houses in the area are managed by this company, I have no idea how they run a business like this. Lastly, the upstairs living room had an extremely sour smell. We couldn't pinpoint where it was coming from. It was so unpleasant that we couldn't sit in that room without a window or door open.
