Summary: Our family absolutely enjoyed our stay in this huge, comfortable house in a lovely McLean neighborhood. We were pleasantly surprised at how large all the 6 rooms were, with four upstairs each with ensuite baths, one downstairs off the living room, and another full floor of bedroom-bath-rec room as a mini-apartment in the basement. There's also several good communal areas for gathering for meals or hanging out together. The kitchen is updated and has lots of cooking equipment (and a great little coffee bar!). There are some slight imperfections around the house (it's not a new build), but nothing that at all interfered with our comfort and appreciation, and when we arrived everything was spotlessly clean. The driveway is on a very steep hill (like many D.C. houses) so it was really nice to be able to park inside the garage. And we loved sitting out in the cute outdoor patio area in the mornings and evenings. If we come back to the D.C. area with a group, we'd certainly rent here again!
