Summary: An authentic New England farmhouse experience two and half miles from Sandwich NH. This means there is abundant wildlife all around that comes right up to house from humming birds flitting among grape vines hanging from a trellis just outside glass doors to black bears making nocturnal visits. The house is dog friendly and our dogs loved that they could leave whenever they wanted. There is no internet and spotty cellphone reception. For that, you need to go to the Front Range cafe in Sandwich. The absence of distractions allows for reconnecting by doing activities together and relying on each other. There is no other way to safely get up Mt Washington.
