Summary: Cool old house. Everyone loved the decor, and the location near to Babcock State Park and New River Gorge was great. Kitchen is well laid out and functional, however not many smaller pots and pans so if you plan to do much cooking then recommend bringing some of your own. TVs and internet not great, however lots of books, games, and activities which for us was better anyway. The only "trick" is that it appears to be isolated and tranquil, however it is 50 ft off of a highway which made the front porches noisy and not as nice to hang out as we hoped, the back porch is quiet and screened, however being in the "L" of the house it doesn't get much air flow and is therefore pretty warm on hot days.
