Walk, jog or take to the water from this jewel of a beach. Relax on a large deck with comfortable furniture. If you are a early riser, see the sun rise over the Atlantic Ocean. If you are a night owl, watch the stars in the sky and the lights of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel twinkle at night. There is always activity on the Chesapeake Bay! See giant cargo ships, aircraft carriers and submarines come and go from one of the busiest ports in the country. Observe the watermen hauling their crab pots in the morning, then head over to Capt. Ron's Seafood later that day to buy fresh crabs! Watch dolphins and a wide variety of birds including ospreys, brown pelicans and if you are lucky, bald eagles. And all of that is just viewed from the deck! Head to the beach for sun and fun. The beach is gently sloped, wide and great for kids! If you are a kayaker, sailor, windsurfer, stand-up paddle boarder, or kiteboarder you can put in from the beach right in front of this cottage. Hobie cats, Lasers, Sunfish and windsurfers are regularly launched from here. It has two bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the other with three singles, all linens are provided. There is a full kitchen including dishwasher, microwave, icemaker and all utensils and dishes. The bathroom has a tile floor and custom tile tub shower surround. Living room has a 50" TV with cable, DVD player. and high speed internet with wireless. This is not a "rental unit". We use it ourselves much of the summer. It is fully equipped, carefully maintained and constantly being improved. All linens and dishes are included. The outdoor shower and walkways are completely rebuilt. There is a nice Bermuda grass lawn wrapping around the cottage. This is the first floor of a duplex cottage. The second floor apartment is occupied by a young military couple. This is the best location on Buckroe Beach with a wide beach, a long distance from the public beach that gives you the most privacy and a deep lot that places the cottage well away from the road.
