Bring your Snowmobiles and Side by Sides for the Rail to Trials through NEP, or bring your book and your loved ones and simply enjoy nature and decompress.
The road to the cottage is a dirt road and has a creek that needs to be driven over, road is built under it. It was intended to be driven over. We recommend 4 X4 vehicles especially during times with possible, snow filled visits. It would also be wise to pack a shovel during winter months. Shovels are provide at the cabin however depending on storms your own might be useful You assume full responsibility driving the road to the cottage.

Summary: Had another great long holiday winter weekend at this property with friends and family. Easy access to Elk Mtn for skiing, fun playing on the frozen lake and cozy evenings by the wood stove and TV. Long dirt road to get there but wasn’t hard to navigate and still a close drive to general store (Cables), convenience store/pizzaria (Arlo’s) or restaurants (The Beacon) for weekend needs. Tips - Not too close to any grocers or state (liquor) stores so BYO for those things. Also as noted in the description sheets/blankets supplied but not towels, so BYOT’s as well.
