Oceanside Getaway for Two
Welcome to the Oceanside Farm (Est. 1860)! Whidbey's Oldest home. Nestled in a large open field overlooking the Straits of Juan De Fuca, the Oceanside Cottage is the perfect island getaway. In creating this home away from home, we hope you’ll enjoy the attention to detail and focus on creating a space that is as comfortable and cozy as it is luxurious. The well-appointed and beautifully designed kitchen space is intended to make you feel at home. With pots and pans, top of the line cutlery, and other kitchen necessities, we think you’ll find everything you require for baking or cooking. The living room offers large picture windows and comfy seating, inviting you to take in the gorgeous natural scenery as you to sip a glass of wine or enjoy a warm cup of coffee or tea. After a long hike—we recommend Ebey’s Landing—come home to the cozy heated flooring that extends throughout the cottage...we even included heated floors in the shower for added comfort. Since we didn’t skimp on any other details, and because we know the value of a good night’s rest...we think you’ll find the bedroom to be the perfect place to land at the end of an active day. With fine linens and a top-of-the-line king sized mattress, you’ll rest easy and be ready to take in all the island life has to offer. And finally, while we don’t recommend it, we understand that working is sometimes part of the deal...for those who just can’t leave the laptop at home, there is a private office space with WiFi next to the bedroom.

Tennis anyone?...Or perhaps a little pickleball!?
In addition to a beautiful and well-appointed cottage, this getaway is designed with active couples in mind. Be sure to pack your tennis racquet and balls so you can take full advantage of all this property has to offer. There are pickle ball paddles and balls available for your use during your stay. Should you wish to have lessons, please let us know. With former World ATP ranked and UW Hall of Fame player available upon request (pending schedule...so notify us as early as possible).
Attention Mountain Bike Enthusiasts!
If you love mountain biking, we highly recommend checking out the local trails. Not that you’ll want to leave the property, but the Kettle Trails are a short walk/ ride from the property and offer all sorts of trails for hikers and mountain bikers alike. If you’d rather stay, please feel free to try out the pump track located on the North Side of the cottage. In any case, proceed with caution...you can’t play tennis or pickle ball if you’re injured.
Farm Fresh Eggs, anyone?
At the Oceanside Farm, we take extra care of our hens. The coup, aka “the chicken mansion” is located next to the tennis courts and open for visits (if you like this sort of thing). Feel free to grab eggs for breakfast or baking but remember to remove your shoes when you head back inside (we can’t promise the coup is ever going to be poop free).
Pheasant Hunting just 3 minutes away...and 5 release sites on the island. Will provide details on our favorite spot upon request.
Enjoy the view of the fire from inside and out on the newly added 270 square foot fire pit. We have plenty of wood and will have stocked daily.

2 Guests: $300/ night + deposit ($500 fully refundable, of course)
3-4 Guests: $400/ night + deposit ($500 fully refundable, of course)
