Summary: The interior of this home is lovely and communication with host was prompt. Kitchen is well equipped for preparing meals. The location is just one exit north to the bridge to Coronado Island. The listing stated that there was 3 queen size beds and a full size sofa bed, sleeping 10. There was only 2 queen size beds, the 3rd was an air mattress. The sofa bed mattress was extremely thin and you could feel the bed frame through it. There was no bedding for the air mattress. If you only need two queens this rental will work for you, otherwise I do not suggest the sofa and air mattress. When we brought this to the host's attention he did reach out to VRBO to have the listing changed and offered to contact VRBO to get us another rental. We declined due to having to get to a wedding. The neighborhood does not feel the safest, a homeless encampment with visable drug use out the front window. Frequent police activity. The encampment did not bother us and mention it soley for those who might be concerned. On our last night we were kept awake by road construction taking place. If you decide to rent I would recommend asking the host if construction is complete. The host offered a 25% discount for future stays for pointing out to him the error in the listing. It would have felt more genuine if he gave us the discount on this stay.
