Grab a book, a tall glass of iced tea, and relax on the deck as you watch the boats go by! From the minute you arrive at this cottage, located on 6-acres beside the W.E. Skelton 4-H Center, you’ll be wowed by the views and beauty of Smith Mountain Lake. This home is one of only a few homes that sit OVER the water, giving you a tremendous view from the walls of windows in the great room and master bedroom.

This home has been updated throughout with granite countertops, marble bathroom flooring and beautiful vertical cable railing on the outdoor deck. The Master Bedroom has two sets of sliding glass doors directly to the deck and has remote-controlled blinds, so sunrises can be enjoyed with the click of a switch. The 2nd bedroom has twin beds, which works great for kids and singles, alike.

Outfitted with both a floating dock next to the dock as well as a pad for a jet-ski, which may be used during your stay. This home is close to restaurants by water or by car and only a short 8–10-minute drive from a major grocery store.

Please note: The driveway down to the house is steep. Some people prefer to park on top of the driveway and walk down - but there is adequate parking beside the house for 2 cars.

Summary: We booked this lake house for a much needed long weekend. Overall, the property is great. The views are amazing and it is very quiet and peaceful. We would stay here again!
