This cottage is located on the property of the historic Chapel House (circa 1845) in Stanley. Relax in comfort while you enjoy the nearby Shenandoah National Park, Luray caverns, Massanutten Ski Resort, and other local attractions.

The cottage includes a luxurious king bed, lounge area, Roku TV, kitchen table, and a private bathroom with a shower and large soaking bath.

*Note: There's not a full kitchen in this cottage - just paper & plastic with a coffee bar, fridge, microwave, and toaster. No kitchen sink or stove.

The space:
This is a beautiful property hosting a main house, 2 cottages, and a yurt on 3 acres. The grass yard is large and beautiful. Small weddings used to be held behind the main house. Ample parking is provided for guests, but not enough for events. The pergola, yard, and parking are common areas, so please be considerate of other guests.

The cottage is a high ceiling open room with a luxurious king bed, lounge area, kitchen table, and vanity. The sitting room has furniture for 2 and contains a Roku TV with accounts for Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN. You can also view the TV from the king bed. Off the main room are bathroom and a food room.

Outside the cottage is a back sitting area with Adirondack chairs and a fire pit. Firewood is provided so you can enjoy a relaxing evening outdoors.

Guest access:
You'll have access to the cottage and the back sitting area. There's a single parking space between the cottages, and additional parking at the end of the drive circle. Parking is communal, as is use of the pergola and yard. Please be considerate of other guests.

Other things to note:
This is a beautiful property centrally located between attractions such as the Shenandoah National Park, Luray caverns, and Massanutten Ski Resort. Fun activities such as horseback riding are within a couple of miles. Try some yoga at the local winery in town. Head to the Shenandoah river for tubing, kayaking, fishing, and swimming. Beautiful hikes to waterfalls are nearby in the National Park.

The property is in Stanley, a quiet, small town. It's convenient to be close to amenities such as a grocery store, local restaurants, and shops. A convenience store is within walking distance of the property.
